Ylläs-Levi MTB tests your fitness on fast-paced routes and technical trails in an authentic fell environment. The event has a changing riding direction every year: In July 2026, you will pedal from Ylläs towards Levi.
The route, which has already become a concept with its magnificent fell landscapes, offers an unforgettable challenge for mountain bikers.
The first Ylläs-Levi MTB event was cycled in 2015, after which the popularity of the event and the route has made cyclists from Finland and abroad return to the fell landscapes to challenge themselves.
Ylläs-Levi MTB offers the opportunity to cycle between two well-known fell centers, partly in the Pallas-Yllästunturi National Park. It is safe and easy for participants to join the event. The Ylläs-Levi route is open throughout the summer season and can be cycled independently at other times as well.

Route
The route connects the outdoor resorts of Ylläs and Levi, passing through the Pallas-Yllästunturi National Park.
The surface varies: there is an natural path, a gravel path, a wider renovated route, a gravel track and maybe even the Bike Park flow route.
On the way, you will climb higher to Yllästunturi Fell and Homevaara Hill, and the 75km route goes to highest point of Kukastunturi Fell.
The direction of travel changes every year: In even-numbered years, you pedal towards Levi, in odd-numbered years towards Ylläs.
